A (short) biography
Hi, I’m Jérémie. I’m a filmmaker and producer based in Montreal. I tell stories where the body, adversity, and identity are at the heart of the narrative. Whether it’s with athletes, artists, or young people searching for meaning, I try to capture those fragile moments where the personal meets the social.
My work has taken me from the world of synchronized swimming (Perfect) to the backstage of fitness (Adonis), through the intimacy of an extraordinary family (The brother) and into the bullfighting arenas of Camargue (A french youth). Behind every project, the same desire drives me: to understand what pushes us to go further, to perform, and to confront the norms that shape us.
In 2017, I co-founded the production company Extérieur Jour. We produce distinctive films driven by bold voices, both in Quebec and internationally. Whether documentaries, animation, or fiction, we focus on authenticity and on powerful, cinematic visions.
